There’s been a lot of noise recently around breakfast club funding, and understandably, it’s raised questions for schools.
We want to offer a calm, practical overview – not a sales pitch.
In short, the funding is designed to:
- Improve access to breakfast provision
- Support attendance, punctuality, and readiness to learn
- Reduce pressure on schools already doing “the right thing”
What it doesn’t mean:
- You must overhaul your current provision overnight
- You need to make immediate decisions
- That existing models are suddenly “wrong”
Every school’s situation is different – space, staffing, pupil needs, and current provision all matter. Some schools will see this funding as a small support to what they already do well. Others may use it as an opportunity to review or refine their approach.
If you’re unsure how it applies to your school, or you simply want to sanity-check an idea, Alex is very happy to help. No pressure, no sales agenda – just a conversation with someone who spends their time talking to schools about this exact topic.
Sometimes a 10-minute chat is enough to remove weeks of uncertainty.
